Be the hands of God and help serve on this day. God’s Hands Day service event is coming up on Saturday, March 23, from 9-12 pm, with a lunch supplied by the Men’s Ministry to follow. We have both cleaning and light repair tasks, both inside and outside. You can find your preference and select your own task here: Sign-Up Genius list. All ages are welcome. It will be a great day to meet others and work together as a team.
Help serve a Christmas breakfast to the homeless community in Fort Worth. We will be handing out the Christmas backpacks also at this time. Join us this day to serve at 8:30 am - 10:00 am. Contact Rhonda Miles for more info.
ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 13, AT 6:00 P.M., WE WILL MEET AT HERITAGE TO PACK THE BACKPACKS. IF YOU ARE AVAILABLE TO HELP, WE WOULD LOVE YOU TO JOIN US! THE BACKPACKS WILL BE DELIVERED TO OUR HOMELESS FRIENDS BEFORE CHRISTMAS.
We invite you to take part in giving 100 backpacks full of winter items to the homeless in our community. Use the Amazon Wish List to purchase items or make a monetary donation by using the Giving link and choosing the fund, That Was Me.
If you prefer, you can also purchase bulk items, such as beanies, gloves, hand warmers, etc., from our Amazon Wish List. You can have them delivered directly to the church office or bring them to the table no later than December 10th. (HCC - 4201 Heritage Trace Pkwy, Fort Worth, TX 76244).
There will be an Angel Tree in the lobby from November 26 - December 10. The angels have items such as hand sanitizers, toothpaste, lotion, chapstick, etc.
On Wednesday, December 13, at 6:00 p.m., we will meet at Heritage to pack the backpacks. If you are available to help, we would love for you to join us! The backpacks will be delivered to our homeless friends before Christmas at our regular serving on Sunday, December 17th.

We have received an emergency plea for assistance. Our good friends at the Community Storehouse have encountered a crisis with their pantry. All food banks, even the Tarrant Area Food Bank, right now are feeling the crunch. The Storehouse pantry is in need of the following items:
Canned Fruit
Canned vegetables
Canned Pasta (Chef Boyardee Style)
Tuna/Canned Chicken
Soups
Canned Chili
Canned Beans
Drop off your food donations the next two Sundays in the lobby, or you can always drop your donations off at the church office, Monday-Thursday 9 to 5 pm. Let’s help our good friends out in a big way!
TWM has an immediate need for summer clothing, including shoes. This quarter TWM is also collecting Feminine Hygiene Products. Please bring your donations on Sunday, June 4th and 11th to the table in the Lobby.
Join us for a night of fun and some friendly competition at Ladies Game Night on Saturday, May 6th at 6:30 p.m. in the Studio! We will enjoy cards, board games, and a Minute-to-Win-It competition. Bring a snack to share and a favorite game (if you have one).
