Join us as we pack bags for kids facing food insecurity. We will need help packing these bags once a month. Our packing day will be the second Sunday of the month, from 10:10 am - 10:40 am in the back hallway of the Children’s wing. Each month, we will need volunteers to deliver these. We are monitoring the predicted winter storms and planning for one online service on Sunday, January 25th, in case we need to cancel in-person services for safety reasons. If that plan becomes reality, you can view our service on our Heritage Church YouTube channel or on our public Heritage Church of Christ Facebook page.

Before the New Year rolls in, we will meet to worship again with one combined service at 10:00 am on Sunday, December 28th. One service will benefit the needs of staff and volunteers during this holiday season. Join us for the last service of 2025.

Join us Sunday, December 21, for a Candlelight Christmas service that will allow the season's spirit to overflow in your heart. We’ll meet at 10:00 a.m. for one combined service. We will embrace the true essence of Christmas and celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. There will not be children’s worship on this day. We’ll all gather as one for worship, adults and children alike.

Our Year-End Giving initiative is in place through the end of the year. Empty your wallets, purses, and coin containers. Yes, we’ll even take your pennies! Come prepared to give as one for so many important ministries. Won’t be in town? That’s alright, you can give online anytime. Join us for Breakfast with Santa on Dec 6th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at 4201 Heritage Trace Parkway. We will have pancakes, sausage, and breakfast drinks with Santa. Each child will have the opportunity to speak with Santa and have their picture taken after breakfast. Pictures will be shared digitally.  We will also have fun activities for you to enjoy while waiting for your scheduled time with Santa. Anyone who’d like to help serve a Thanksgiving Lunch with Church on the Slab can meet us at 10:30am on Sunday, November 23rd. We’ll work together to serve our Homeless friends. Meet us at 1009 Arizona Ave. in Fort Worth.

Saturday, November 22, 10-11 am, we will meet at the HCC Church building kitchen to prepare stuffing for our Homeless friends' Thanksgiving lunch at Church on the Slab. They hoped to serve at least 100.

Please join us to assemble Christmas gift bags for our friends who are facing homelessness. We’ll meet on Monday, November 17th, from 6-7 pm. These gift bags will be delivered to Church on the Slab before their Christmas party on 12/21. We will not be joining COTS for the Christmas party, as we will be celebrating Christmas with our Heritage families on this date.

Looking to make connections at Heritage or learn more about our Women's Ministry? Stop by our meet and greet table at the rear of the auditorium on Sunday, November 16th, between the 1st and 2nd services. Grab a bite to eat and chat with other Christian women in your stage of life! We'll also have info on upcoming Women's Ministry events at Heritage. See you there!

Heritage is partnering with the Feed the Need and That Was Me ministry leaders to prepare meal kits for our community. We are calling this initiative the Full Plate Project.

Our goal is to pack meal kits this Thursday, November 13th, from 6:00-7:30pm. If you'd like to help put these meal kits together, please join us on Thursday through the main entrance to the building. We will have volunteers to direct you through the process! If you'd prefer to help monetarily, you can give to the That Was Me fund on the giving page.

These kits will be passed along to partners in local schools that are aware of families that could use help during these times. We will also have some kits available for pickup for members of our Heritage church family on Sunday during both services. These kits will be set up in the hallway next to the Studio. Please take as many as you need.

Every Tuesday, beginning October 14th, in the Pumpkin Patch, we will offer Preschool Story Time at 10:00 a.m. Your littles will enjoy stories, songs, and games!

Help us box up food items to distribute to families in need of food supplementation during the holidays. As a church, we’ll have a systematic way to complete as many boxes as we can in a short amount of time. Together, we are the hands and feet of Jesus. We’ll begin immediately following our 9:30am combined Inter-Gen worship service. There is something for all ages!

The Heritage Pumpkin Carnival promises a fun time for all ages! Bring the kids and their friends for this awesome evening at the Heritage Patch from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, October 26th.. There will be hamburgers and hot dogs. Registration for attendance is coming soon!
We also need volunteers to help. Sign up to let us know you are attending the carnival and choose your food. Want to volunteer at the carnival? There is a place for you. Volunteer now.

Join us on October 26th for an Intergenerational Sunday Service at 9:30 a.m. All generations will meet together as we host one special worship service. Immediately following service, we will serve alongside each other as we pack food boxes for our Feed The Need food drive. No matter the age, we need you! We can’t wait for all of us to be together, children included in worship. There will be no children’s or adult classes on this day.

We need a hand in the Pumpkin Patch this Saturday morning (10/18) at 9:00am. Our patch needs replenishing, and we need helpers to get the pumpkins unloaded. Come and go as time allows. All ages welcome.
