Next Steps at Heritage
Our mission is to help churched and unchurched people connect to God, one another and purpose. We want you to join the mission and help people develop deeper connections. If you want to grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus and help other people do the same, we encourage you to take the next step that is most appropriate for you.
Take a look at some of the different ways you can take a next step then, when you're ready, you can use this form to let us know.
First Step is a brief, 30 minute orientation about Heritage where you can learn about our mission, vision, and how you can get more involved.
At First Step you can join a small group, find a Bible study, become a member at Heritage and much, much more. First Step is offered once a month.
Starting Point is a conversational, small group environment where people can explore faith and experience community. It’s a safe place to ask questions and learn about the Bible and Christianity. If you want to get connected to God, this is a great starting point.
Jesus instructed us to be immersed in water to publicly acknowledge our faith in Him. Baptism symbolizes dying to life without Jesus when we go under the water and resurrection to life with Jesus as we emerge. It beautifully reflects the death and resurrection of Jesus, who died to forgive us of our sins.
In a large congregation, you can only know so many people "up close and personal." Care groups are smaller environments to help people connect to one another as they study, discuss, reflect, share life experiences and needs, and pray for one another. Group members develop a sense of belonging and a sense of family.
These gatherings help people connect to God and one another through studying specific topics and passages from the Bible. Study groups are offered at a traditional “Bible Class” hour on Sundays and at various other times during the week. They may be men’s groups, women’s groups or mixed groups.
Service groups are teams of people connecting to purpose by serving at Heritage, in the community or around the world. We use hundreds of volunteers each week to create engaging worship environments for our guests. By joining a service team you are joining us on mission and connecting to purpose.
