How Do I Give Online?

Online giving is easy! To get started, you will need to create an account in myHCC. Once your account has been created you will be able to sign in with your new user name and password.

Why Give?

Everything comes from God, and everything belongs to God. Whether you bring your tithe as a step of obedience or contribute to a ministry as an act of generosity, your money will result in more return here than any other place in the world—a return evident in lives changed.

Your contributions will help spread Christ’s message of hope and healing to so many people and places—around the corner and around the world. From giving a single gift to scheduling an ongoing contribution, your generous gifts continue to facilitate God’s great mission in Fort Worth and indeed around the world!

Should I Tithe Off My Gross or Net Earnings?

Scripture doesn’t use the literal terms “gross” or “net.” It’s more important to note that the spirit in which we give is of greatest value to God. He tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give; not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Is Online Giving Secure?

Absolutely. Security is our top priority. We understand that you may be concerned about privacy and security issues surrounding the use of the internet for giving contributions. We have partnered with Church Community Builder, aka CCB, a company that works with thousands of churches just like ours to provide a secure, 128-bit encrypted online system which is monitored and tested daily.

Is My Information Kept Private?

Absolutely. The online giving form requires personal information which we store in a 128-bit encrypted and secured database. We do not rent, sell or share ANY of your personal information to ANY third-party for ANY reason.

What Methods Can I Use To Give Online?

For your convenience, you may use e-check / bank account or a credit card to give online. You may also use a debit card that features a Visa or MasterCard logo.

By using e-check, you can be sure that your giving to HCC is not accumulating additional credit debt that can pose later financial challenges. Also, e-check / ACH has the lowest cost for processing your gift. Because of this, we encourage you to use e-check as your online giving choice whenever possible.

If We Want To Help People Get Out Of Debt, Why Does Heritage Accept Credit Card Donations?

Used within the parameters, debit and credit cards can be an efficient tool for payments and purchases. Many people utilize them in place of checks or cash throughout the month, and then payoff the balance in full. For these people, we offer the option of using a debit or credit card to give. We strongly discourage those who have ongoing credit card debt from exercising this option.

Can I Set Up An Ongoing Giving Schedule?

Yes, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Sign in to your account or create an account.
  2. From the home screen click on the “Give” tab and choose either “One-time Gift” or “Repeating Gift” using either your Checking Account or Bank card.
  3. Or from your Profile click on the financial tab and at the bottom of the screen click on the “Give” button and choose either “One-time Gift” or “Recurring Gift” using either your Checking Account or Bank card.
  4. If you have chosen the “Repeating Gift” , Select the date you’d like to begin giving or the number of times you would like to give the amount.
  5. Fill out the Billing information section.
  6. Complete the Checking Account Information or Credit Card Information.
  7. Click the Authorization Conformation box and click submit.
  8. You’re done!

Can I Set Up An Ongoing Giving Schedule For More Than One Account?

Yes, simply follow the steps above to set up an ongoing giving schedule and repeat the steps for as many accounts as you’d like.

Are There Hidden Charges or Fees To Give Online?

Nope. You select the dollar amount for your gift, and that is the amount that will be recognized as your donation. There are no costs or fees.

How Can I Access A Record Of The Amount I Have Given?

You can view statements or add/edit/remove giving contributions 24/7 by following these simple steps:

  1. Sign in to your account or create an account.
  2. Click the “Give” tab and under the Actions on the right hand side click you can either choose “Stop my repeating gifts” or “My giving statement”.
  3. From the financial tab on your personal profile page you can, view recent transactions, choose printable statements or view your “My repeating gifts”

Will I Still Receive A Contribution Statement?

If you are using Online Giving you can always get your giving statement online, If you need us to mail a contribution statement at the end of the year just contact the church office..

What If I Need To Change Credit Card Information, Transaction Date Or The Amount Of an Online Contribution?

For security reasons you are not able to make changes or edit an existing contribution. If changes need to be made, simply delete the contribution and recreate it with the new information. You can delete a scheduled contribution at anytime.

  1. Sign in to your account or create an account.
  2. Scroll down to “My Repeating Gifts” here you will view the schedules you have already created. Simply click the stop sign to the right to stop the payment.

What if I need to update my Debit / Credit Card Info for Text Giving?

It's very easy, just text the word "Reset" (without the quotes) to the text donation number (817-200-7696) then follow the prompt to enter your new card information
