Keith Sanderson The first church we attended was the Azle Avenue church of Christ. I was baptized there at the age of eleven by Brother Charles Cosgrove. Then, Azle Avenue, Rosen Heights, and Lake Worth churches of Christ merged to become Northwest church of Christ. As a teenage Christian, the person who had the greatest influence on me was our youth minister, Garfield King. We knew his wife, Delaine, and he truly loved us kids and wanted to help us grow as Christians. I met my future wife, Karen Graham, for the first time on the Rosen Heights parking lot. She likes to say that she chased me until I caught her. We were married October 11, 1974, in the Northwest building by Brother Tom Gaumer. We continued to worship there until 1982 when we moved our membership to the Midtown church. We are blessed to have two Christian sons and I was honored to baptize them both. Benjamin Keith was born July 9, 1980, and Caleb Graham was born September 21, 1984. Ben is happily married to our wonderful daughter-in-law, Heather (White). I am currently the Supervisor and Certified Home Inspector with Amerispec Home Inspection Services. Karen is a Student Support Specialist at the Region XI, Education Service Center. We live on the west side of Fort Worth but are more than happy to make the drive to worship at Heritage. We just can’t think of a better place to be. I am honored to be an Elder/Shepherd of the Heritage church of Christ. I served as Deacon at Midtown for about 15 years before becoming an Elder in 2000 while we were still at Midtown.
